A few tricks of the trade to help your day go smoothly:
Bring pre-made labels, with your name, address, email, phone & wedding date! There are a lot of great prizes being offered and you can simply place your sticker on the prize form instead of filling out each entry form! This will allow you have more face time with the vendors to focus on their products/services and personalities!
Don’t be afraid to ask questions- these are professionals and have been in the business for years! Wedding planning is a major part of their lives and this is your chance to pick their brains, learn from them, and get a great foundation for your wedding!
Bring a notebook & pen and/or folder. Take a ton of notes! We will be providing you with a program so you will have the names and contact info for the vendors, but you will be talking with a lot of vendors and your brain will be swirling with new ideas and wedding details- you want to make sure you write down the names of the vendors you love and the next steps!
Bring a camera- when you see something you like, take a photo! It’s always easier to show, than try to explain! You can also bring photos of some ideas you already have collected to show vendors and give them a good idea of what theme, color scheme, etc. you’re going for to see how they can help you enhance/achieve your goals!
Allow yourself plenty of time to talk with all of the vendors – the show starts at noon and goes until 3pm. This may seem like a good amount of time, but there will be tons of samples, decoration ideas, and vendors you’ll want to talk with! Time flies when you’re planning a wedding! We suggest you arrive at noon – and remember, in order to win the GRAND PRIZES, you must be present to win! Grand Prize giveaway will be at 2:45!
Create a special email address just for wedding info – This is a great way to help you keep your wedding planning information organized and in one centralized location – it’s quick & easy to set up a gmail or yahoo account. Also, since it won’t mix in with your personal email, you won’t overlook or miss any special offers/tips!
